What It Costs
Three stages. Each one is priced on its own, each one is worth having on its own, and each one earns the next.
Most firms in this space quote an implementation and work backward. We don’t. You find out whether you’re ready before anyone scopes a build, and you find out how the business should run before anyone touches software.
Stage 1
ERP Readiness Assessment
$1,750
What you get
A written verdict: ready, or not ready. If not ready, the specific list of what has to be in place first.
What it does not do
It does not tell you how to close the gaps. That is the next stage, and it is a separate decision.
It also sizes stage 2
The verdict names which Business Assessment your operation actually needs, so that scope is evidenced rather than quoted.
Platform stance
Neutral. This assessment can conclude that Odoo is the wrong fit for your operation, and if it does, it says so.
Stage 2
Business Assessment
$7,500 or $12,500
What you get, either tier
- Current-state process mapping
- Target-state operating model
- Process-to-platform mapping
- Scope and sequencing
- Integration architecture
The five areas we scope as standard
- Sales and order management — quoting, order entry, pricing, customer master
- Supply chain — inventory, purchasing, shipping and receiving, planning, MRP
- Manufacturing — BOMs, routings, work orders, capacity, shop-floor execution
- Engineering change control — revision control, ECO workflow, effectivity
- Accounting — GL, AR, AP, costing
Engineering change control is in the baseline, not sold as an extra. If your BOMs revise constantly, scoping around that later is how implementations go sideways.
| Focused — $7,500 | Full — $12,500 |
|---|---|
| Single site. The five standard areas, standard lot tracking, minimal integration. | Multi-site or multi-company — or any of: quality management, serialization and full traceability, EDI, shop-floor data capture, maintenance, field service, job costing as its own discipline, customer or vendor portals. |
What it does not do
It does not build anything. It tells you what to build and in what order.
Stage 3
Odoo Implementation
$75,000–$300,000
What moves the number
- How many seats
- How many functions go live, and in how many phases
- The condition of your data
- Integrations to systems you are keeping
- How much process has to change, not just how much software
Where your number lands
Out of the Business Assessment. You get a scoped figure off a mapped operating model, not a guess off a demo.
Why the readiness fee is not credited
If the $1,750 came off the next stage, we would have a financial reason to tell you that you are ready. You would spot that immediately, and you would be right to. The verdict has to be able to come back negative, or it is not worth paying for. Independence is the product.
Why it is sequenced this way
Each stage answers one question and deliberately refuses to answer the next one.
| Stage | The question it answers | What it deliberately does not do |
|---|---|---|
| Readiness Assessment | Are you ready for ERP, if not what is missing, and how much scoping does your operation actually need? | Does not say how to close the gaps |
| Business Assessment | How should the business operate, and how does that map to the platform? | Does not build anything |
| Implementation | Build it. | — |
Software selection should be the last decision in an ERP project, not the first. Readiness, then operating model, then platform, then build. Most failed implementations we are called in to fix ran that order backward.
The Readiness Assessment tells you whether an ERP move makes sense this year, and what it will take. Two weeks, $1,750, no obligation to go further.
